Terms of Service
1. Who may join
IC XC is a community for adults. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account, and you affirm this at registration. Accounts created in violation of this requirement are removed.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and what is done with it. Keep your password to yourself. If you believe your account has been compromised, tell us at [email protected].
3. Your content
What you write remains yours. By posting, you grant IC XC the license needed to store, display, and deliver your content to the people you share it with — nothing broader. Delete your content and the license ends with it; we destroy the encryption keys so deleted content is permanently unreadable.
4. Conduct — the floor beneath the Covenant
The Community Covenant describes the community we keep. These are the hard lines beneath it, enforced without exception:
- Nothing unlawful, and nothing that harms or endangers a minor. Content that sexualizes minors is reported to the authorities.
- Sexually explicit content is not permitted. This is a clean table by design; uploaded media is reviewed automatically before it becomes publicly visible.
- No harassment, stalking, threats, or targeted abuse; no slurs.
- No impersonation, spam, scams, or attempts to compromise the service or other members.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that cross these lines. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users; reports are reviewed and acted on promptly. You can report any post, reply, or member from inside the app, and block or mute anyone.
5. The service
IC XC is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Membership is currently free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IC XC's liability is limited to the amount you have paid us — which, today, is nothing.
6. Leaving
You may delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Section 3's key-destruction applies in both cases once the deletion grace period ends.
7. Changes
If these terms change materially, the new version is posted here with a new version identifier and, where required, you will be asked to accept it.
